Veterans Make Some of the Best Business Owners
Are you a veteran, or do you know a veteran that could benefit from owning their own business? We are here to help.
Think about it. What are some of the most important skills you need in order to build and run a successful business? Ambition, structure, discipline, follow-through, honor, and grit, just to name a few.
Most military veterans have these skills in spades, but what they may lack is guidance and resources. There are a vast array of support services available to get veterans well on their way to being successful business owners.
The first thing a veteran needs to do is get verified with the VA (Veterans Administration). This one step will open the door to many resources such as business structuring, licensing and permits, funding, business strategy, marketing and sales training, government contracting, and more.
The Tech With Heart Network and TV Show provides business owners with valuable insights about technologies, and proven business strategies that will help you be successful and competitive in a rapidly changing digital landscape.
We recently interviewed Retired Marine and former SBA Veteran Business Champion of the Year, Albert Renteria, to discuss some tips on getting veteran businesses set up and launched toward success.
This information is great for those who want to empower a veteran to start their own business, perhaps even getting a homeless veteran off the streets.
